Review by Dorian Dawes - October 2011
You're cordially invited to delve into a collection of visual and musical hauntings, a collaborative creation that has been brought to life by the collective efforts of one gal with two hands, a box full of production hats, and the invaluable contributions of cast, crew, and volunteers. This body of work is not just a playground for conceptual ideas, but a stepping stone towards more significant works in the making—visual ideas for bigger worlds with bigger budgets.
The artistic references that inspire my work are not just inspiring; they're in the company of legends! Among the filmmakers, writers, and artists who have influenced my work are Lewis Carroll, Salvador Dali, Luis Bunuel, Germaine Dulac, Robert Wiene, Federico Fellini, Fritz Lang, Maya Deren, David Lynch, Rod Serling, Ken Russell, Kenneth Anger, Derek Jarman, Terry Gilliam, and Guillermo del Toro.
It's truly a joy and an honor to have my music videos chosen as official selections for film festivals in the US and abroad. The recognition and positive reviews of my work are a testament to the passion and dedication I pour into each project.
I'm deeply grateful for the opportunities that have allowed my videos and shorts to be featured on esteemed entertainment blogs, e-zines, and industry hosted websites. It's been a privilege to be interviewed for live radio shows and podcasts, both here in the United States and abroad.
My published work as a singer/songwriter (ASCAP) is broadcast on live radio stations, streamed globally for podcasts, satellite radio stations, and radio networks from Philadelphia to Ireland, and as far as Indonesia.
I'm a creator of unique worlds. My original intellectual property "OTHERWORLD" (fantasy-horror, action-thriller series) is attracting attention.
To read more about Otherworld, please visit Projects. In the creation of these worlds, I delve into a process that combines my love for visual and musical arts, weaving together narratives and soundscapes that transport the audience to a different realm.

Film Radar
“11:11 is a trippy music video directed by Sophia Segal. The video, which deals with a young girl in a fantasy world, features amazing surreal images right out of Lewis Caroll.”
